The client

Founded in 1985, La Vie en Rose is a leading Canadian lingerie and swimwear retailer.

The challenge

La Vie en Rose approached WPIC and tasked the team with building out a full service e-commerce presence on China’s most popular third party marketplaces for their brand.

Their goal was not only to raise awareness inside the market, but also to ensure that conversions and substantial revenue followed.

Our solutions

WPIC integrated LVR’s full list of SKUs and product photos into Tmall and JD.com, China’s most popular B2C e-commerce channels. In total, WPIC successfully localized over 115 SKUs in advance of the store’s launch date, to ensure that the right product mix was offered to consumers inside the market.

Through SEO, the La Vie en Rose store achieved high rankings for highly competitive keywords on Baidu, driving significant traffic to the brand’s Tmall store. A Baidu PPC account was also created to drive traffic to the Tmall store.

Beyond that, WPIC developed and deployed chat functionality in the store to seamlessly connect consumers with product specialists and customer service professionals for last-mile sales support.

Results

After a data collection period, WPIC deployed the two stores, led by market intelligence and competitive insights. With specific product offerings tailored to the local market, optimized and localized design, dynamic marketing strategies and more, the brand is seeing strong conversions and significant growth of their share in the market.
